At Castelo-do-Burro, an overgrown, but beautifully situated estate close to the Atlantic Ocean, we have integrated our concept in harmony with nature in the rural environment. We established a nationally well known and successful donkey stud and founded an award winning breed of livestock guardian dogs "Rafeiro do Alentejo" as well as the little "Tibetanos".

In coexistence with the animals, we offer our visitors the opportunity to regain their attitude towards joy of life, internal balance and real satisfaction and thus to come closer to their individual fortune day by day.
